COMBINATION of FORENSIC 3D
with EXTERIOR BALLISTIC SOFTWARE
and TOTAL STATION MESUREMENT
EXTERIOR
BALLISTIC SOFTWARE EB V. 4.0 of Dr. RUPRECHT NENSTIELL is in my oppinion
powerfull and very usefull s/w but has one disadwantage: it is made for a
skilled expert. After a long learning curve skilled expert can manage to
understand all those numbers that represent ballistic trajectory. Unfortunately,
for judges, prosecutors, lawyers and other nonskilled persons EB s/w is not
intuitive and is not easy for them to understand it's implications. That is why
I wanted to combine precision and quality of EB with intutiveness and
demonstrative power of Forensic 3D.

Ballistic
Expert should present his expert oppinion in a Court in more transparent way so
everybody could understand details of his findings and conclusions. A result of
EB s/w is a ballistic trajectory computed by use of very complicated
differential equations that take into account muzzle velocity and mass of a
bullet, 3D coordinates, azimuth and elevation of the muzzle, influence of air
and a wind to the bullet, slope of a terrain and other parameters that can have
influence in some particular shooting case.
